Sights in and around Marseille

Most sightseeing tours start at the Old Port, near our hotel restaurant located on the Corniche. You will not miss "La Bonne Mère", symbol of the city, as well as the many parks and gardens that make up the city. Notre Dame de La Garde

The Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde Basilica, nicknamed "The Good Mother", attracts attention with its 157 meters high. At its summit, stands a magnificent statue of Mary, who watches over the sailors, sinners and Marseilles. Beyond the sacred character of this emblematic place of Marseille, you will appreciate the impregnable view on the city Phocéenne that is offered to you.

The small train

Discover Marseilles on board the little tourist train. From the Old Port, near our hotel restaurant, two magnificent walks are proposed. The first circuit will take you through the Corniche and will take you to Notre Dame de la Garde. The second circuit will allow you to discover the Old Marseille including the Panier district.

Frioul islands

In the middle of the Calanques of Marseilles, stand four islands: Pomègues, Ratonneau, Tiboulen and If. There are beaches of fine sand, pebbles and an exceptional flora and fauna. Shuttle buses departing from the Old Port, just a stone's throw from our charming hotel restaurant, are at your disposal to get you off the Frioul Islands.

The Panier district

Le Panier, the oldest district of Marseille is located in the heart of the city of Marseille. Walking through its narrow and steep alleyways, it is a true testimony to the eventful history of the ancient Massalia that you will discover.
